A Little Bit About Us
We’re a private club that offers a collection of ‘informal event spaces’ to rent.
The ‘informal’ adjective is significant ... we are priced much lower than a typical event space.
However, it also means that we don’t offer much in terms of “service”.
We rent the spaces ‘as is’, food and beverages are ‘bring your own…’,
and we don’t have any staff to cater to you or clean up after your event.

Our long-term goal is to build a community of members that want/need to use our spaces,
and that support other members’ use of the spaces. We open our doors to people who want
access to space outside of their homes and are willing to take a sense of pride in the place
as a member of our community. While not a ‘non-profit’, we certainly don’t make any profit.
Rental prices are set low so we can cast the widest net possible to find/build our community.
So if you rent a space, please just be cool and take care of the place.
Here’s some information and frequently asked questions:
-
How do I book a space?
-
You can book through links on our website.
-
If it’s your first time booking, we require that you come in for a tour, to meet us and discuss how we work and how you will want to use the space(s).
-

-
Is membership required to book a space?
-
Nope.
-
Well, technically if you don't have an annual membership, then you'll be signing up as a member for the specific rental date, and will be signing a membership agreement outlining the expectations and liability requirements.
-
The price for the rental without an annual membership is higher than if you have an annual membership
-

-
Is membership required for each family member?
-
Nope.
-
Your membership will have one person setup as the responsible party, who can book events. That person can have as many guests as they would like.
-

-
I see that there are events posted online, can anyone attend?
-
Yes, please do!
-
We want to build a community, and supporting events makes that happen.
-
If we have posted an event to our website/social media, that means someone is hosting that event and wants to bring in a crowd to support it (regardless of membership status).
-

-
What parts of the place are handicap accessible?
-
Only the ground floor is accessible without going up/down stairs.
-
That floor has the game rooms and offices, as well as an overlook to the gym.
-

-
On the date/time of our booking, how do I get in?
-
We can open the door remotely for you if we’re not there to meet you in person.
-
If you’re a member and have rented a few times we will set you up with fingerprint access.
-

-
Can I get in early to set up before our rental starts?
-
We ask that you block off time for your party for the whole time you need.
-
That should include any decorating/setup and cleanup of your event.
-
If you have a special requests, just talk to us and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
-

-
Can I throw a birthday party in the Chapel for my 8 year old and 10 of their friends?
-
Short answer… Sorry, no.
-
Longer answer… If your desired party would fit well at Monkey Joe’s or Sky Zone, then it’s probably not a good fit for the Chapel.
-
The reality is that our place isn’t set up to be ‘kid proof’ at all. 10 kids running around will likely end up breaking something or somebody getting hurt.
-
However, we’re not saying that ‘kids aren’t allowed at LPP’.
-
You want to have a big family party and there will be several kids running around? No Problem.
-
You want to use the gym or game room to run girl scout meetings? Great!
-
Ultimately, you’ll have to make the call, since you’ll be responsible/liable for anything that happens during your event.
-
-
We realize this a muddy answer… so if you have an desire to use to the space, but are unsure how we’d feel about it just talk to us and we’ll it figure out with you.
-

-
Can I bring any food or beverages for my event?
-
Absolutely! We’re good with you bringing any food or drinks you want, including alcohol.
-

-
Do you have a kitchen area to cook food?
-
No, we do not.
-
We do have tables with access to electricity you can lay out food, though.
-
We also have a microwave.

-
Can we move around the tables, chairs, ping pong, etc?
-
Absolutely! Just do your best to put things back the way you found them, though.
-

-
Do you have folding tables and chairs we can use?
-
Yes, we do.
-
Based on the last person who used them, they may be in the gym storage space or behind the golf simulator.
-
If you use them, please take them down and store them again in one of those spots.
-

When we’re done with the rental, what is expected of us?
